The existing apartment used to serve as an x-ray clinic and therefore was very partitioned. The apartment had to undergo an important transformation to become the modern apartment that the client desired for herself and her dog. The apartment was stripped of all interior partitions leaving only the existing concrete structure and toilets. The result is an open plan house with the social areas organized towards the entrance side: entrance hall, living room and kitchen are one open space that crosses the whole apartment and connects the south balcony to the terrace on the north façade. The private areas are located on the opposite side of the entrance, organized around a corridor with the toilets. A sliding wall on the living room can close and add a guest bedroom to the house.
